I have a Rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I live with 4 other people, they all have iPhone 6's
I love my Android, and I even taught myself how to program for Android. I built my first real Smartphone app because my Samsung Note 4 is 1. Android, and 2. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a high end smartphone, and I told myself if I could write a couple apps, I would be awesome. I did it. I'm awesome. Allot of people like the iPhone, but it's boring to me.

1. You can't Root the phone.
2. The main home screen is always filled with icons, and I don't like that. I want widgets, and etc. etc.
3. Android is extremely customizable.
4. iPhone's look all the same.
5. They're both good I guess. I mean you can make phone calls, text, video chat, facebook, twitter, etc.
6a. It depends.. Android is so much more affordable then iPhone it's really not funny.
6b. You can get a $15 Android phone with 3G Verizon service (LG Optimus Exceed 2), or you can get a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus which will cost you nearly $1,000

It depends.. They're both smartphones, you can do pretty much the same thing with both devices.

7. Android allows you to drag and drop files straight into the phone. Where Apple is annoying and wants you to use iTunes to add ringtones and notification tones. Android let's you drag and drop the files without any hesitation.

8. Android has a very large selection of phones. Apple has... well.. they have the iPhone.

If it really don't matter of processor speed, ram, internal hard drive space, if it has a MicroSDXC slot for additional memory, etc. It's really up to you. What do you want to do?

I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for..
01. Playing Clash of Clans
02. Skype
03. Facebook
04. The Jackbox Party (Long story short. My sister streams the game in another state on YouTube, and me and the rest of my family that live other states play the game on our phones. There's a game inside the game called Drawful, and I like using my Note 4 to play that game with them)
05. Text Messaging
06. Making & Receiving Phone calls.
07. Watching movies.. I guess. sometimes.
08. Testing new software (that I make)
09. Weather Status
10. Calculations
11. GMail and Yahoo Mail
12. Watching YouTube videos & Tutorials

etc. etc.

iPhone but considering an android.. Apple has had many problems lately (Bendgate & Chipgate) and are becoming less innovative. I don't think they're worth the money anymore and I like the choices you get that come with Android. There are some nice android phones nowadays

I use Android because:

1. Expandable memory.
2. Removable battery (in mine, anyway, not all have this).
3. Cheap MicroUSB cable (again, for mine), a buck in a dollar store. Don't need to fork out $$ for an Apple cable that falls apart.
4. Connect to any computer, anywhere, no need for accounts or software like iTunes.
5. Drag and drop any file between my phone and folders on the computer. Can share anything I want.
6. Less expensive than Apple.

No-brainer for me. I don't like the degree of restrictions that Apple has on what I can do with my phone or my own information

I have three Androids and one iPhone, well two if I count the one my wife has form her work. Androids because I sent about the same for two Oneplus One and a Galaxy grand prime as I did for the 64 gig iphone 6 with apple care. The one iPhone because my wife's friends have iPhones. My personal preference is for Android because I haven't got iPhones to work as well for me which would likely change if I used an iPhone for a week. Not Blackberry or Windows because last time I check I found them lacking in apps.

iPhone. I've tried android phones but don't like them. Everything else I have is Apple, so all my devices are connected to each other, I don't need to download from one device to another. Everything is just there no matter which device I pick up. I can even answer my phone on my computer, iPad or iPod touch.

I have blackberry, but will get an Android phone in a few months. Blackberrys app range isn't enough for me. Android has more options. Apple is too expensive, and I think is neither water or shock proof

Apple phone,
I just don't like the menu structures on Android phones.

But;
Android tablet - it's more versatile than an ipad as a general-use device.

[ps. The claimed "bendable" problem with iphones is a scam - the similar-size Samsung devices are no stronger. However, no person with any common sense would actually sit on either phone]
