log base b (p/q) + log base b (q/p)
... log of a division becomes subtraction
= [log base b (p) - log base b (q)] + [log base b (q) - log base b (p)]
... associative prop.
= [log base b (p) - log base b (p)] + [log base b (q) - log base b (q)]

= 0 + 0 = 0

b)

So (Log to base b of P) - (log to base b of Q) + (log to base b of Q) - (log to base b of P) does = 0.
