No

you only have to look back through history to see how "morals" have changed over the centuries and also depend on what country you are in.

We may think our morals today are the best they could be, but every generation has also thought theirs to be the best,

Ours are only the best cos we think they are - people living in a different country, or in a few generations from now might think we are a totally immoral country/generation

Yes.

The Universal Moral Code is a list of fundamental moral principles that can be found throughout the world. It was created by Dr. Kent M. Keith in 2003 while writing a book on morality and ethics. The code incorporates basic, universal ideas about how we should live and how we should treat each other. Living these principles can provide each of us with the meaning that comes from living our values and doing what's right.

The code is divided into two complementary sets of statements. The first set consists of negative statements about not doing harm, while the second set consists of positive statements about doing good.

DO NO HARM.

Do not do to others what you would not like them to do to you.
Do not lie.
Do not steal.
Do not cheat.
Do not falsely accuse others.
Do not commit adultery.
Do not commit incest.
Do not physically or verbally abuse others.
Do not murder.

No, there is no such thing, other than those who have faith in their religion, because that religion's rules and ideals would be their moral code.
But for people without religion or faith, there is no general higher power that everyone would agree on being worthy enough to be in charge of everything. If the world cannot agree to follow a single person or set of rules, then they will all have multiple views that appeal to various people's view of life. Current morals are only determined by their individual sense of "right" and "wrong"

In a sense yes in a sense no; the closest thing to a universal moral code are the universal human rights, other than that there is no real moral code as one of the other people here mentioned, some people follow their Religious creed, citing that no man-made set of rules can be perfect and only God s set of rules can be perfect. Some follow a creed of some club or society, as they value their loyalty to that cult or whatever more than other authorities... others feel no sense of responsibility to any Higher power or authority - which can be dangerous - that person could eventually no longer see crimes and evil actions as wrong and simply see being caught out (i.e. the consequences/punishment) as bad , in essence this makes a person selfish and inconsiderate of others.

In any case, we can talk about morality and universal codes all day, when in essence there is no universally accepted one (although there should be, but it would be impossible to have all humans in agreement) but some basic ones would be to always uphold the Geneva Human Rights Convention, to only do that which you know the other person would not be hurt by (don t ask yourself if you would like it done to you as people vary in their preferences, whats important is keeping people unharmed) and finally don t break any (major) laws!

If I could personally emphasise any one thing's importance and one thing which I personally would advocate as a UNIVERSAL moral code it would be this: Don't do anything to directly harm or offend others! I don't mean if you are gay don't be because someone will be offended, I mean (for example) if you smoke weed, you aren't harming anyone (but yourself!) so that is ok (morally) BUT if you sell it kids that is NOT OK because you are harming the kid and offending the parent (hopefully)

But anyway, If I said anything to offend anyone I apologise :)

There seems to be biological patterns that humans follow like punishing murderers who murdered within the tribe or the justification of the murdering of others outside of the tribe.

But this is human biological constraints rather than a universal moral code. Say an intelligent species evolved from reptiles, then I'm sure they would be arguing over a completely different set of moral absolutes.

Is there a Universal moral code?

Yes there is a Universal moral code for all beings to protect, teach and adore their younger foe. Who is not in awe of a baby version of anything, even inatimate objects minitured are adorable! Who doesn't want them to be taught something new that they learn then remember they were the ones who taught them!
Every creature, whether big or small, who is with young or has just had young, seems to be universally protected.
As such, even a slight disturbance to the way the unborn parents are treated or made to felt is generally frowned upon.
That to me, is the Universal Law that is felt by everything and in everyone.

somehow YES.
it is an ancestral part of every human being.
it s a force that push in what we call "the right directiont", the truth". this is the way of love, and it's the deepest answer of our most secret question (who we are, what the reason of our lives and so on).

there il plenty of evidence of this.

We are made for love.

the good and the bad are abolute, not relative. the good is right and behind it there is the true power of the universe (god). the absence of good, or what we called as bad, is our choice, made for weaknesses and stupidity.
if we were rational we should pursue the good, but, however, somebody forget this and follow money, sex, power. the most stupid one follow the ISIS or the mafia, and the results of their choice is that his life is sad, full of sadness with no joy.

pay attention at this: during the times the sensitiveness change. in particular as the time goes on, and we become more intelligent and powerfull of knowledge, we are able of deeper our love (as well as be more guilty toward bad action).

so if the good are absolute (and the moral code exist) the responsbaility is relative.

10.000 yrs ago when Killing was normal, the act of kill was less guily than today (because we should have more brain).

so the moral code is universal. more we are near to god, more we are able to approach to this code (and vice versa).
but we are not all the same, so we should be judging based on our background. a caveman for example can not have the same compreension of this code as a man of today, and for him being good woul means for example give food to his child istead of im and killi other caveman without torture them (for example), or wothount enjoing the action.
for us being good means help the other, and not pursue only personal interest.

No. There is no universal moral code. Each community develops its own code- on eating, sex, dress etc. Kiss is common in France but this is immoral in India especially at public place. But the underlying priciple universally applicable is - do to others as you would be done by.
