Cold Sore Questions?

Hello I have OCD and one of my obsession are cold sores and herpes. I have a few questions for anyone who knows a lot about them other than what they read on the internet like studying and things like that.
Question 1: If someone got infected with a cold sore, how long after would they get a cold sore outbreak?
Question 2: Can one get infected and never have an outbreak?
Question 3: How can I trigger it, to find out if I am infected?
Question 4: Can you get a cold after touching a lot of things then touching your outer lip, then licking your outer lip?
Question 5: Can someone get a cold sore sharing a cigarette?
Question 6: Can you get a cold sore from using them same cups, plates, cutlery and so on, after it is washed with washing up liquid?
Question 7: How do I know if I have a genital herpes or if I had it in the past?
Question 8: Can you still get genital herpes from not being S active?
Question 9: Can you get genital herpes from touching a lot of things then touching your johnson?
Answer the questions, wise one, may the force be with you. The force of gravity don't go flying off into space. I'm not trying to be funny.

1. It usually takes a few weeks to develop signs or symptoms after being infected.
2. Yes some one can get infected and never have any signs or symptoms.
3. Stress, being out in very hot or very cold weather for long periods of time can trigger cold sores, as can having an illness or weakened immune system.
4. Not likely to happen since the virus that causes cold sores doesn't survive for long periods of time when it's exposed to air.
5. It's possible if you use it directly after some one with a visible cold sore used it.
6. It's possible (with cups or utensils) again if you use the cups / utensils directly after some one with a cold sore used it.
7. You can have cold sores with out having genital herpes. The only way to know for sure is to get tested for genital herpes which can be done with a blood test.
8. Genital herpes isn't likely to be passed with out having oral sex or intercourse.
9. You don' get genital herpes from just touching things or touching some one that has it.
