Is double majoring in Education and Fine Arts a good idea?

I really love art and visual art and would love to pursue a career in the fine arts, however the only issue is the career and employment outlook. So I was thinking of doubling majoring and also receiving a degree in elementary education which is a career I also would like to have. In that case, if I didnt receive a job in fine arts I could get a job as a teacher. Is this a good idea or not? Could anyone give me any advice on this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks :)))

Consider special education, there is a niche there for teaching art to disabled children and adults.
That may not appeal, just a suggestion.

According to this article from a few years ago, Fine Arts is ranked #1 on the listed of useless degrees.

It's #3 here:

A quote that heard a few years ago: "Art is a hobby; not a career."
