Whats wrong?

My mom went to the E.R a few hours ago, I just called to see how she was doing and they said all she would say is her name. Example; Whats the date? "My name is Lizzy." Any question they ask her she says "My name is Lizzy." What is wrong with her? :(

Sounds like she may have suffered a stroke...what do the real doctors say?
