What Brand dog food do you use, I've been buying Blue Buffalo?

Blue Buffalo is very good for your dog! Anything grain free that you buy from a pet store (not walmart) is pretty much good. Dogs need a lot of meat in their diets.

opinions on dog food vary big time ....some will say that there is no food on the market that is good for your dog ........ I use royal canin for all my adult dogs and there pups ....blue buffalo is a good brand .....but understand the changing food is hard on a dog , even more for a pup. mix old with new . more old then new, to more new with old over a months time

My dog is currently on Natural Balance. She was eating BB for a while but after finding out that they lied about their ingredients, I decided to switch her.

I've been feeding Innova for years, but it is no longer availabe. Actually today, I'm going to buy a a new food to start mixing with the remaining Innova I have. I'm probably going to get Evanger's or Fromm. I personally would not feed BB, as many dogs have had problems from it, and they were recently caught lying about the ingredients. Some people are happy with it, though, so if your dog is doing well on it, no need to switch.

we used to feed our dog IAMS, she keep throwing up. so we started giving her Science Diet and she stopped.

When feeding kibble I changed my dogs food every bag. People disagree with this but I was told it is best for your dog to be able to eat a diverse diet, feeding it one brand and one type is similar to you eating chicken and rice everyday of your life. I fed acana and orijen mainly and raw diet. Do not feed together but at separate meals its fine to switch. It's good to put some fish oils, kefir or even a raw egg into your dogs food on occasion. My dog was very healthy and at 9 years old I often got asked if he was a puppy.

Science diet for small dogs mixed with Natural Choice canned dog food, My dogs run with me, so I give them calories and protein. Yes I've heard the negative things concerning Science Diet but my Vet said it's over hype and my dogs do great with it. My running partners are Shih Tzu's.

My dog was on Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice until they changed the formula and she was allergic to something in it. Then she was on Purina Simply 9 Lamb but started throwing up on it. It was determined that she has a sensitive stomach and now she is on Wellness Simple Grain-Free Turkey and Potato.

One of my dogs has always eaten Diamond and he does perfectly well on it. The other dog, a senior dog we just got (her previous owners had to re-home her), eats Hill's Science Diet.
