The term isn't plain English. It's used as a cover for scams that purport to allow you to pass a drug test. None of them works. There's the common perception that some miracle will "clean your system," and there isn't anything that does that, though there are drugs like naloxone that can temporarily block some of the effect long enough to keep you breathing (and that's certainly not your circumstance). And there are the medical programs. As noted above, there isn't anything that significantly increases drug clearance, but there are programs effective in controlling some of the symptoms of withdrawal.
