How to cross out in a word document (so u still have the text but it's crossed over)?

Format-Font-Strikethrough

Highlight the word or terms > Right click > from the pop up menu choose "fonts" > Effects > Strikethrough

Or from the Word Tool bar, from the "Font" section: click on the Strikethrough effect (next to Underline).
