Speeding 34 over?

My son recently got 2 traffic tickets the other night. One for speeding 34 over, (79 in a 45). The other for an invalid drivers license because he was out past curfew. Waiting to hear back from a couple lawyers I contacted but I'm so worried. What's going to happen? Is this going to be OK?

No, it won't be ok.
Fist of all, lawyers go for $ 400.00 an hour or more.
Second, his license may be cancelled ,or suspended
AND NOW THE BEST PART.
The cost of his insurance will go through the roof, his insurance may even be cancelled,
This is going to cost a lot of money

Well if he just got a ticket instead of being arrested and charged with reckless driving, he's already very lucky. In my state (IL) 34 over is considered reckless driving. As far as future repercussions, it all depends on the judge who decides what his punishment will be which most of his/her decision is based upon his driving/criminal history.
If that is his first and only run-in with the law, I would expect him to receive a pretty hefty fine, be required to attend traffic safety school, and also receive 6 months or so court supervision. Under court supervision, he cannot have any more traffic infractions or he could have his license suspended.

All in all, everything should be fine as long as all fines and requirements are met and does not get into any further traffic trouble in the near future.

He will likely get a fine a driving ban if he s unlucky, so it s not ideal but it could be worse
