yes but we cannot have phones out during a test or a lesson. We must turn off the phone when the teacher is teaching or if we take a test. If we want Google or the Internet, we can use phone.
If we finish work early, we can play on phone.
We cannot use phone to talk to people. We cannot text.

Some schools allow it but others don't. Most schools that do allow it will only let you use your phone or mobile device for homework, research, or to call your parents.

At our school phones must be on silent, no ring tone or vibration. And out of sight, put away, not to be seen while in class.
