Do you fear death because you're unsure where you'll end up?

Seek Jesus and you shall not fear because you will have the guarantee that you will reach heaven; it is never too late. The man on the cross next to him was forgiven of all his sins right before his death: “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” - Luke 23:42-43

His promises are real, but most people don't believe in Him because they are enjoying the pleasures that this perverse world offers. I've been there myself, yeah girls and sex and what not, but at the end is all that worth losing your soul because we disobeyed Jesus? It's about about being sincere and opening your heart to Him so that He may live in you. He WILL come back for us.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." - John 14:1-3

But, just as heaven is real, hell exists as well. That is the destination of all sinners.
"But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." - Revelation 21:8

Eternal life or eternal suffering? YOU CHOOSE. I can only plant the seed in your heart.

Whether people realise it or not, the fear of death is a control mechanism of Satan the Devil.
The Bible speaks of Jesus who shared in our humanity, "so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death - that is, the devil - and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death." (Hebrews 2:14-15)

The devil holds sinners in slavery to sin and death (its consequence). Jesus came to smash the chains that bind us to the devil, to sin, and to death.

Those who have repented of their sin and trusted in what Jesus did to deliver them from sin and the judgment to come, know where they will end up, and all fear of death is gone!

The Bible also states that fear is due to dread of judgment, and that those who know the love of God in Christ "will have confidence on the day of judgment... There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us." (1 John 4:16-19)

Only those who have experienced the love of God in Christ no longer fear death, or the judgment that follows.

I have no fear of death. There is nothing that can happen to me that God cannot undo.

I see that you love God and want to serve Him and look forward to the reward He promised. However, the bible tells us that He will only be worshiped in spirit and truth.

If you truly love God then you want to worship Him in the way He asked you to, so you will not be offended if I point out that your statements do not all agree with the teaching of the bible.

Just to take one - Jesus' words to the thief next to him. Pay careful attention to them - "Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise."
The bible tells us to make sure of all things so let us take a look at that statement.
Jesus was not in paradise that day. Or the next or the next. In fact he remained on earth talking to his disciples for over a month. Did he lie to the poor man hanging next to him? I wouldn't think so. Then how do we solve this discrepancy?

Does the statement "Today you will be with me in paradise" agree with the teaching of the rest of the bible.? No, it doesn't.

Then what could be wrong? Well we know that the KJV has over 30,000 errors of translation. Is this one of them? If we examine the earliest manuscripts available, we find that yes, it is. What happened?

Simple, they just put the comma in the wrong place. The sentence should read - "I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise."
Did Jesus lie? No. Does that agree with the rest of the bible? Yes.

If you would like to examine the bible with us to discover the precise truth we will be glad to sit down and share what we have learned with you.

Jehovah's witness.

If you believe in yourself as an indestructible immortal soul who will never die and you believe in God's eternal love and forgiveness, you will see that hell is just a place you put yourself into because you don't think you are worthy to be with God. Hell has nothing to do with being thrown there to be tortured. That is for boogy man stories and for televangelists who want to soak you for money. The truth as I see it is that God judges no one, only the soul judges itself. So the lesson learned is, don't judge yourself. If you don't judge yourself, nobody else, including God, will...and therefore, no matter what you have done, you are not going to go to a hell. That is my take on it. Believe what you want.
