Hi guys! I am a 17 year old male who is 5'8. I am about to give my behind the wheel drivers test and I think that driving a car is boring?

So I want to drive a motorcycle. I have been doing research and I think I can handle it. I haven't drove a motorcycle but drove a scooter a few times and they are pretty easy. I was thinking about getting my drivers license then getting those classes for motorcycles near December or January. My dad loves motorcycles but hasnt really had the chance to buy one because alof all the moving we have been doing. But he doesnt want me to get one before he does so I want to suprise him and work undercover with my mom. So can someone tell me the procedure of getting a motorcycle licence? Like what do I do after I take the classes do I go get the bike or do the classes give me a learners permit? I am kijd of confused. If someone could tell me a good beginners motorcycle which a 5'8 guy can drive. I know that I should get a 250cc bike or below first which I will go with preferably so if you could list some names it would be great. Thanks!!!
