共有四小題:

In a particular set of experimental trials, students examine a system descried by the equation:

Q/Δt=[kπd²(Th-Tc)]/4L

In this trials, all quantities except d and Δt are constant.
(a) If d is made three times larger, does the equation predict that Δt will get larger or smaller?
(b) What pattern of proportionality of Δt to d does the equation predict?
(c) To display this proportionality as a straight line on a graph, what quantities should you plot on the horizontal and verticalaxes?
(d) What expression represents the theoretical slope of thisgraph?

有點難以理解題目在問甚麼~"~

(a) When d gets larger, Δt will get smaller 因為兩者是成反比例的,D是在EQUATION的分母,而Δt 是另一方的分子
(b) d² is proportion to 1/Δt, or Δt is proportion to 1/d²
(c) To get a straight line, you have to make the quantities in proportion
Therefore, horizontal axis = Δt
vertical axis = 1/d²
(Not sure if these two are real ans)
(d) 1/(d²Δt), You have to explain what this is.
