Macbook keeps freezing a few minutes after startup?
I recently got a new hard drive installed bc my macbook wouldnt start up. A few months later... Now my macbook keeps freezing (spinning wheel of death) a few minutes after I start browsing. Ive checked the CPU, gone in safe and recovery mode. Ive tried repairing my disk and tried the PRAM. Nothing seems to be working. Im terrified because i have all my files on my mac and i need them for college.

No idea what computer it is. Next time, say "It's a 2008 running OS 10.6.8" or whatever. Now I can only choose a model for you... and I'll choose 2014 running OS 10.10.
All the things you tried are fine, but what were the results? Did Repair Disk show any problem????? "Ive checked the CPU" Huh? How does one do that? By the way, PRAM has no bearing at all on a spinning delay cursor.
Maybe the drive is full. Did you get any message like below?

Re-image your operating system, delete your unnecessary programs, suspect a virus, and reseat everything on your system board.
