The fundamentals of a happy family are deminishing we are becoming robots for material. Agree?

Kinda, I agree that we are becoming too focused on materialistic wealth rather than dignity and love and I also feel that we are brainwashed into thinking the size of your iPhone I more important than the size of your heart. but with that I feel these material things help families bond slightly as well. for example video games can be a fun bonding experience and facebook helps us talk to people we haven't talked to in years over seas. so it has pros and cons but overall I feel we are very absorbed in media and nonsense. but I feel we still have some family value. if only little

Disagree. Material acquisition does not diminish family as much as people think. If that were true, the concept of family would have disappeared ages ago. Humans naturally create families even if they don't have one, like sports, religious communities, college buddies, etc.
