Can a sudden stop of exercise cause constipation?

I usually play sports once or twice a week. I'll go jump around, move my body for hours and sweat heavily. 4 weeks ago I decided to stop playing sports until my exams are over. And last week, I suddenly started having constipation. It's still going on right now. I tried drinking water, eating fiber (stomach feels a bit bloated and stuff) and nothing works. I still have physical activities everyday, but is it possible for soneone to have less bowel movement due to a sudden lack of exercise? I'm a bit worried you know, only some small stools were able to come out in a week and there are still many stools stuck inside my body.
