Chain rule: f '(x) = 5 (15x+7)^4 d/dx (15x+7) = ....

f(x) = (15x + 7)^5. f'(x) = [5(15x + 7)^4][15x]. This comes from the chain rule. This is best illustrated as follows.
Put 15x + 7 = u. Then f(x) = u^5. Now {d/dx}[f(x)] = {d/dx}[u^5] = {d/du}[u^5](du/dx) = (5u^4)(15).
