Games like TES4: Oblivion?

Well, if "Oblivion" was good, then "Skyrim" will be great. Similuar game play (No repairing of weapons due to wear).
Unlike "Oblivion" which is pretty much the same in replay. The "Skyrim" is never ending... and due to random deaths, may have different minor game play. The game is so huge that it is near impossible to duplicate the game in replays (other than Major quests.) Not talking to certain NPCs may lead to different results in the hundreds of minor quests.
Buy the "Legendary" or "Anthology" game packs so you will have everything. I suggest Not installing the Add-ons until you have played the Base game through at least twice.
Many quests have "Either/Or" questions that make playing the game at least twice necessary if you want to do All the possible quests.

I have more than 3000 (on my 14th play) and have only recently added the add-ons (one at a time). Which was very expensive at 20$ a pop.
Have played four games with "Hearthfire", three with "Dragonborn" and am on the second with "Dawnguard".
All since November 2014, It is a great game
I miss the racial bias of "Morrowind"
I miss the Needed Repairs weapons and armour of "Oblivion". .
Otherwise a fine game.
IF you are on the PC be sure that you have the Recommended Specs to run it.

Well the obvious thing for you to play would be Skyrim or else TES III: Morrowind but there are tons of other great fantasy single player RPG's also. My personal favorites are things like-

Dragon Age series
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
The Witcher series (all 3 are on PC)
Dark Souls series (need a controller or else difficult goes to snap your own neck out of frustration)
Divinity series
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen

There is also of course Fallout which is The Elder Scrolls with guns essentially.

Games Like Oblivion

Oblivion First off let me say that if you never played any of the TES games or any of the Fallout games it might seem a little difficult to figure out what to do but you will get the hang of it Length- Depends if you side missions(Which i recommend) 9.4 -Main Quest-line- Easily 15 hours -Side-Missions- 30 hours plus. Im serious -Guild Missions(All of them Combined) 25 Hours to 50 hours -Any of the can be smaller if you really rush through them Thoughts -Prob one the most fun game and most open ended game there is. -Can do what ever you want and kill who ever you want(Sorta) - Have Mansions and Houses( If you want one look up to get) Battle-7.4 -Battle System is OK. Its not a MW2 but for sword fight, archery, and magic, Its fine World-13.9 -Very creative, HUGE, Tons of explorable areas(Caves, Forts, Oblivion Gates Leveling-8.5 -Basically level for doing anything in the game -In your main skills use battling skills like swords or bows, stealth -You have to sleep to obtain your new levels -Higher levels unlock harder enemies, better weapons found and armor, more exclusive areas for high levels where much harder enemies are at.( Like instead of the crabs at the beginning, at level 20, you would fight Mercs with crazy *** armor) Story-10 -Very in Dept and trust me you will get into the game easily -Beginning is boring but the rest of the game makes up for it The beginning is boring so stay with it. Once you hit lv5 it start to become really fun. This should take you about a day. OVERALL GAME- 9.8
