Never give your dog anything without vet recommendation and/or prescription.
Take it to a vet for a proper diagnosis/treatment along with a fresh fecal specimen instead of giving it over the counter products that don't work, can harm and even kill your dog.
Pet store worming meds aren't worth buying (as in, they do not work well, if at all). Go TO you rvet, get the dog checked for worms & wormed with the proper stuff (Rx) for the correct worms it HAS. Start using a heartworm preventative with a wormer in it. BTW, no OTC wormer treats TAPEWORMS. And while you are there, have your VET check the anal glands for you. YOU have no business squeezing them yourself. Anal glands can ITCH due to FOOD allergies, btw. a subject NOT covered, so far. in your postings.
Worm medicine is poison, so giving it to your dog unnecessarily is a bad idea. OTC products don't work, and can make pets very ill. The best thing to do is take a fresh fecal sample to your vet and the proper medicine, if your dog indeed has worms. I get my dogs tested annually for worms.
why you wana give him worm medicine if he don't have anything. Did your vet said anything that your has worms?
no it wont bother them, its the same as you taking antibiotics if your not sick, they become inert. so, help yourself. lol.
