如果是負責學生入學註冊的渣fit人, 又或電腦部門的主管也稱dean嗎? 還是一定要學院院長才稱為dean? 和職級高低有關係嗎?

1. Both. The hierarchy of a dean is generally placed between Vice President and director/department chairman (President is the top official of the school).

3. No. They will usually known as directors (such as Director of Admission and Records, IT Director).
4. No. For example, usually the chief of the graduate studies of an university is a dean. A dean of graduate studies, although may involves minor academic duties, it is mostly an administrative/executive position.
