Are you talking about making a connection in Atlanta?
You get off your plane, look at the TV monitors for your next flight, and walk to whatever gate it says to go to.

What do you mean? Do you mean that you cannot get from the airport to your final destination? It is unlikely that anyone will help you.

All the other passengers have their own connections to make. That's their responsibility, and looking after your connections is your responsibility.

If you are new to this, then it's up to you to research what you will need to do, like checking and writing down the gates that your flights will depart and arrive at, and the distance between your arriving gate and the gate from which your connecting flight will depart from. It is highly UNlikely that any other passenger on your first flight will be taking your connecting one, and even if there is one, they will have their own issues to deal with.

There are maps sign information screens to assist in finding your next flight. There are also uniformed staff in the Airport you can ask for directions. If all else fails go to the information counter.

For your particular flight you could ASK at the first check in what you need to do. HINT as it is your first flight use the Human to ckeck in . They answer questions much better than an electronic kiosk.
Get there a little earlier for your first flight. It does take more time for a FIRST time flyer to negotiate their way through things.

To get to your gate is so easy if you just pay attention to the signs. There are maps of all the gate numbers in quite a few places. Your gate number is on your boarding pass.
