the grizzly football fans are a loyal crowd. in the 1994 season their attendance rose 880 over the 93 season. in 95 it was 1000 more than in 94, setting a season record of 17964. what was the attendance in 93?

Don't get what? This is 3rd grade. Of course, if you think this is a football question, then math isn't the only subject you have problems with?
What don't you get? They told you 95, and told you how much more than 94 it was... so getting the 94 attendance is obvious. They also told you how much more 94 was than 93.
