Sorry, but the circumference can't be "squared units", not in normal thinking. A circumference is a length, and should be measured in length units, not in "squared units".
Do you mean something like 10^2 units? That's just another way of saying 100 units.
Or, do you mean something stranger, like using square root of (1 unit) as a length unit?
