[英文文法] He suggested my cutting this class. 此聚文法是否正確，若否，應如何改正?

"cut class" = "有課不去上" = "翹課"

標準的英語說法是: he suggested that I cut this class = 他建議我翹這一節課
而且,注意 class與course. Class是一節2節的課,course是一門2門"課程"

drop a course = 把一門課退掉 不選了
cut a class = (該去而)不去上(今天 1個小時的)一節課

還有一個相當常用的習慣:

suggest 的 受詞子句 通常因為會用強烈的祈使句語氣 而用原形動詞!
例句:
He suggessted that she skip town immediately. 他要求她馬上離城．

錯！

He suggested me to cut(drop) this class.

用CUT/DROP有些參考
cut - if you are the teacher. cut是主導取消。當然你要表達你主導拒絕上這課亦可用的。
drop - if you are the student. drop是註冊的反面註銷(不再登記這科目)
