The raft is traveling down the Mississippi River at a speed of 1.80 m/s relative to the river bank (see the figure (Figure 1) ).

Part A: What is Huck's velocity (speed and direction) relative to the river bank?
Part B: from the right horizontal direction

speed = √(1.8² + 0.6²) m/s = 1.9 m/s
Θ = arctan(0.6/1.8) = 18º w/r/t the riverbank
