Cats need yearly vet exams even if no vaccines are needed. Early detection of health issues is important. Once a cat is up to date on vaccines they only need them every three years. Claw trimming is done at home every two weeks - indoor cats need only FVRCP and rabies. Dental cleaning need to be done under anesthesia - most cats need one around age 5. Cost depends on the area you live in, but a wellness exam generally cost between $45 and $65. Indoor cats cost a lot less to maintain than outdoor ones - they are not exposed to fleas and ticks and parasites, and serious injuries from cat fights and cars.

Cats gotten as kittens need to be spayed/neutered and cost there range from low cost programs at as little as $20 to up to $400 at a private vet. Cats also need quality food - not cheap junk from the grocery store. Quality foods mean fewer vet bills down the road.

No pet needs no health care and no pet thrives on cheap food.

you don't brush a cat's teeth. They are expensive if you have to take them to the vet for anything, unless you find a low cost clinic. If the cat stays indoors all the time it doesn't need the booster shots but if it has contact with other cats and goes outside, it does. Where I live, the law states cats and dogs have to have rabies shots.
Food costs have gone up too and you didn't even think of that, did you? Litter box. Cat litter.
It is an expense but I find it's worth it. I have two cats and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Thry dont really need alot of helathcare cats. The most they need is: flea care, worming tablets and also if they get an injury you could consult your vets. I may be wrong, but thats all i ever do health care wise for my cat
