What is consciousness according to you??

---- The information processing of the brain.

Consciousness is not an entity, because there's no such thing as "just consciousness." All consciousness is consciousness OF something.

This makes consciousness very interesting, because we tend to consider it as a subject. Yet, observing the operation of it, the subject/object distinction breaks down.

Spiritual

Awareness of what is around me and its important details. Awareness that I am aware and that there are alternatives to what is an important detail. The image of likely events happening far from me now and events happening here later. Awareness of the alternatives to these events that might be happening now or maybe happening in the future.

Holding these ideas that may be contradictory to each other without going crazy.

It's a kind of "control" to me.
