Sidewalk - 是"路"的旁邊 專門給行人走的"路".通常與"路"有明顯的分界(by something like curbs).Pavement - 是有經過"鋪設"的路.有可能是給人走的(磚塊/木板鋪設),或是車輛走的(柏油鋪設).
例子們:
1. the kids set up a lemonade stand at the sidewalk.
2. the car broke down at the very moment when it hit the pavement.
