F doesn't have a d-orbital. But then how does it form SF6? Also explain it using hybridisation.?

There is no problem with fluorine. It can form a single bond with the 2p-orbital or an sp3-hybridized orbital. It's sulfur that involves d-orbitals in forming six bonds.
