1) Determine the required height h of the roller coaster so that when it is essentially at rest at the crest of the hill it will reach a speed of 92 km/h when it comes to the bottom. 2) Also, what should be the minimum radius of curvature ρ for the track at B so that the passengers do not experience a normal force greater than 4mg = (39.24m) N? Neglect the size of the car and passenger. For image: https://session.masteringengineering.com/problemAsset/1646820/3/Hibbler.ch14.p15.jpg

1) 92 km/h * 1m/s / 3.6km/h = 25.6 m/s

Conservation of energy: PE becomes KE
mgh = ½mv² → mass m cancels, the rest rearranges to
h = v² / 2g = (25.6m/s)² / 19.62m/s² = 33.3 meters

2) You get 1 "g" from gravity, so we need to limit the centripetal acceleration to 3g.
v² / R = 3g
minimum R = v² / 3g = (25.6m/s)² / 3*9.81m/s² = 22.2 meters

Hope this helps!
