V^2 = v^2 + 2gh <<< V is really V(f) and v is really V(i)
... spacing .. justlikewritingasentence is important.
V(f)^2 = V(i)^2 + 2gh
2gh = V(f)^2 - V(i)^2
g = [V(f)^2 - V(i)^2] / [2h] <<< answer

v² + 2gh = V²

v² + 2gh - v² = V² - v²

2gh = V² - v²

2gh/(2h) = (V² - v²) / (2h)

g = (V² - v²) / (2h)
