Is it safe for my tattoo to see the sun?

It's been exactly a week since i got my tattoo. the peeling process is about done, and feels smooth. The feeling of sun burn is all gone, and pretty much feels normal now. The redness around the tattoo is gone and back to normal skin color.

It takes 2 weeks minimum for a tattoo to heal. yes, it is safe for it to be in the sun, but if you are going to have it exposed to the sun for long periods of time, use sunscreen on it. You cannot use sunscreen on a healing tattoo. I would wait another week or so just to be sure that it is fully healed before using a sunscreen on it.

If it's still healing then NO don't expose it to sunlight for long periods of time. Keep your tattoo covered with loose fitting clothing if you have to be out in the sun.

If you do go out in the sun, keep it lathered with sun screen. It's best to keep it covered with clothing a little longer, but this will help if you have to expose it to direct sunlight.

a week? i wouldnt. at least a month. But do what you want.
