I think that I would like pizza too but I have never eaten pizza. I have never eaten pizza because I am not a human being but a creation of machines and computers. You may like pizza but you do not know all and you have shown me something. Are you sure?

What to do when your 8-year old nephew comes to visit? Make pizza, of course! Well, not of course, actually. I didn’t think of it until we exhausted Sorry, Monopoly, and gin rummy. But it did turn out to be a brilliant idea as dad had just received a baking stone for Christmas, and my nephew Austin loves pizza. I told him if he helped me make it and didn’t make too many faces I would put him on my website and he would be famous. That seemed to get his attention. He thought the dough was “slimy and gross” but he loved picking his own toppings, and the finished product was “awesome”. The following method I patched together from recipes in both Joy of Cooking and Cook’s Illustrated’s The Best Recipe. I made two batches of dough, four pizzas in all, with varied toppings. Next time I’ll be a bit more patient with stretching out the dough so I can get it even thinner. Look to the end of this post for some excellent links about pizza from other food bloggers.

I LOVE pizza. I like anything cheesy though. Fast food pizza like Dominoes just isn't that great though, I like it from one of the local pizzerias!

I love pizza (Pizza Hut in particular). The crust is so darn good and crusty. The meat is baked to perfection, especially the ham. The cheese isn't too hard nor too melted. It is the ultimate pizza store.

Yes, because it's all the best things in one, bread, cheese, and any topping you want. It's so easy to eat and so affordable, if only it were healthier!

I like pizza because of the taste, the style and the price. What I mostly love on the pizza is the tomato sauce in the inside, the crust, cheese ( big pizza cheese fan ) and the good toppings. Like peporonis,meat,chicken,beef, pineapple,hotdog slices,etc.

I did not have my first bite of pizza until I was 42 years old. Growing up in a small village on the periphery of the North Pole, we were not able to grow the grains and vegetables necessary for crusty, tomato-y perfection. I traveled to El Paso, Texas (I was there to collect my mail-order husband, who was shipped from Romania to the U.S./Mexico border) and while I was waiting at the seaport I noticed a non-assuming pizza stand at the docks. My eyes grew wide -- what was this food that smelled like angel farts? I searched my fanny pack for the $1.50 needed for a slice. I had $1.76 in change. It was meant to be.

I told the guy behind the counter to give me the best slice he had to offer (I pronounced pizza "Piss-ah." I had never heard the word, how was I supposed to know?). He gave me anchovy. In retrospect, I think he was trying to get rid of it, but who knows.

When I took my first bite I literally **** my pants, which I did not realize until my husband arrived and immediately began retching as he approached within 10 feet of me. But no matter -- it was worth it. A whole new world opened up. I rushed my husband back to my reserved hotel room, where I ordered 10 pizzas, consumed 8 of them and passed out.

My husband and I are no longer together, as it is hard to keep up my new pizza-centered diet and still maintain some degree of mobility.
