表達的動詞是每天都做的現在式，只是加上去上學前這處境的關係在句子裏：
We eat breakfast before going to school every morning.
可能你誤會了寫before這類關係性的連接詞前後要有時差，但這不等於要過去時態的。寫成過去時態是表達那事件或行為是在過去已經發生了的記述，跟句子中的對相時間(前後)沒有必然的要求。所以假如你想要說你明天將會在上學前食水果作早餐，也可以用未來時態寫一句：
