Is it possible not to affect my partner with herpes?

It's possible not to infect some one with herpes. Herpes isn't always automatically passed on but there's always a chance your partner could get it even if you do all the right things.
If you avoid having intercourse and receiving oral sex while or around the time you have a break out and if you take antiviral medication or suppressants regularly this can reduce your chances of passing herpes onto your partner.
If you haven't told him about it then you should let him know about your status. Some people are more accepting then others when it comes to herpes. He may not care if he gets it, if he's happy being with you and he really loves you.

You need to say "My Partner" in past tense for example "Is it possible not to affect my previous partner with herpes." as soon as you're found out you're finished. :(
