You have to use two different conversion factors here; one to change yards to feet and the other to change minutes to seconds. So you will be using either 3 ft / 1 yard or 1 yard / 3 feet AND 60 sec / 1 min or 1 min / 60 sec. How do you know which one to use? You decide what words in the original problem you need to get rid of, then place the conversion factor so that the word you don't want will cancel.
2.1 yards/ min x 3 ft / 1 yard x 1 min / 60 seconds. See how I put yard on the bottom of my conversion factor so it will go away? And since Min was in the bottom of your original problem, I put it on top of the conversion factor to cancel it? Now just multiply straight across the top, then straight across the bottom: 6.3 ft / 60 seconds simplifies to .105 ft/sec
