I am 19 and was wondering whether it was too late to start an acting career? I have no experience in acting and have been doing research and the only way to get an agent in the UK and go to auditions is to go to drama school but you have to extremely talented to get into drama school and I am not. Is it possible to become a successful actor in the UK without drama school and what could I do to get experience and get an agent? Thanks for your time and help.

No, you'll never get a career as an actor without training at an accredited drama school - they only take people at 18 and preferably older, so you are just right to start trying. However, if you're not talented then why bother? No agent would ever risk their entire business on taking on someone untalented. Nothing to do with your age holding you back, it's your lack of talent.

It's not too late - but you DO need to be extremely talented - isn't that obvious?

Also, you DO have to go to drama school.
Agents simply won't consider anyone who hasn't graduated from one of the top schools.

If you aren't really talented, it's just not going to happen.

No, it is a limitation you need to ignore, just like all limitations. Success is not about giving up or giving in to limitations.

You need to attend an acting class still. You need to have proper experience
