The rectangular tank: 3 x 1 x 2 = 6 m^3

The cylindrical tank: π x 1^2 x 2 = 2π m^3

2π ≈ 6.2832. So the difference, in cubic

meters, is about 0.2832 (the cylinder is bigger)

Now 1 m^3 = 1000 L, so the difference in

liters is 0.2832 x 1000 = 283 liters, rounded
