1 mega watt = 1000000 W = 1000 kW

In one hour, energy generated
= (1000 kW) × (1 h)
= 1000 kWh
= 1000 units

unit is actually itself consist per hour. it means 1MW plant can generate 1000units=1000kwh.
MW is unit of power while MWh is energy unit.
Unit is itself a symbol/unit for kwh.

1 kwh = 1 unit.
1 megawatt = 1000 kw
1000 units.per hour of working.

Simple, 1 MW-h, or if you wish,1000kW-h. kW-h is the practical familiar unit .
