A solid cone has a lateral surface area of 100π square cm and a total surface area of 269π square cm. Find the base radius of the cone.?
Need help with math question, tried everything, couldn't figure out, any formulas or explanations would be nice!

Let r cm be the base radius.
Base area = r² π
Base area = (269π - 100π) cm²
r² π = 169π
r² = 169
r = 13 or r = -13 (rejected)
The base radius = 13 cm
