lim (x² + 4x - 12)/(x - 2)
x-->3
factor the numerator...(x + 6)(x - 2)
common factor in the numerator and denominator...(x - 2)/(x - 2)
lim (x + 6) = 9
x-->3
EASY !!

limit [(x^2+4x-12)/(x-2)]=
x->3
limit [(x+6)(x-2)/(x-2)]=
x->3
limit (x+6)=9
