It's never healthy to dye hair no matter what age. But its not dangerous because I've dyed my hair well over ten times since I was eleven. My hairs completely fine. And have bleached it twice and I'm 14.

Depends on what you are dying it with. Also, is it still attached to the 13 year old. If so, dye the rest of them with it.

Dont do it right now.

Ideally one should start coloring hairs after the age of 25

ugh... Its just hair. I dont get why people get all prissy bout doing stuff to hair. It doesn't effect the rest of your body unless you're allergic(most likely not). Of course its safe. If its safe to die a 20,30,40, etc. hair why not 13? Makes no sense if you really think about it

Know that when you dye your hair, your pores close. I personally would recommend dying after you have stopped growing. (About age 20) All dye damages your hair somewhat and could become severe damage in the longrun if you use it too much. If you're a blonde, then it'll be easier for it to come out naturally. At 13, bleach is not the answer. Dying without bleach would be the better choice. However, you can do whatever you want; it's your hair and there are no rules to that! Have fun and be yourself.

Ya I died my hair when I was 11

it's safe if you do it once or twice... but not all the time, although it might look amazing now, in 10 years time your hair will be ruined for life if you regularly dye it.

honestly, i think you should just leave your hair alone, your only 13.

make sure it has no ammonia and also semi permiment that wil be fine.
wouldnt bleach or use perminent as they can have a nasty reaction like i did when i was 13 too...
and bleach will kill the hair

If you're bleaching it. i could not guarantee at all it is safe for your hair, since it'll dry and brittle your hair. Hair dye is not safe at all, but it's like junk food. You can definitely use it for fun, use it too much then you probably might get damaged hair in the long run.

Yes, but be careful, because some people are allergic to ingredients in the dye!

its safe but dying your hair in general can possibly cause a bit of damage

Yes i dyed my hair all the time when I was younger, but PLEASE DONT KILL YOUR HAIR :( coming from my experience. In middle school i constantly dyed it and heated it, and now my hair is dead and scratchy and so hard to deal with. You probably hear it all the time but seriously lol. Dye is safe though.

It is okay. FUN FACT: Angelina Jolie's mother has dyed Angelinas hair since she was only four.
crazy, right?
2015-09-01 1:43 pm
yeah, it's okey. If you don't want to go all the way, maybe streaks would do.
2015-09-01 1:12 pm
yea, im 14 and have dyed my hair 4 times over 2 years, as long as you test it to see if your allergic as i was to one brand then you should be fine. but yea its very safe x

I personally think that it's okay because I'm the same age and I've been doing it for years. Just if you are going to dye it make sure it's from a box not a container. Also be sure to read the box! I know someone who dyed their hair then not reading the box relaxed their hair and had their hair fall out. If you are doing unnatural colours I would use the type Splat because it is very bright and works very well. Last little thing, please don't bleach your hair it kills it lots of the time.

You should use quality product.

My mom dyed my hair when I was 10

A temporary dye would be less damaging, but keep in mind that if you put a dark dye, like black onto naturally light hair, the dye tends to 'hang on' for a very very long time. She may be upset, at that age, over a drastic change or not getting her natural color back exactly the way it was.

yes.
2015-08-31 6:45 pm
yes
2015-08-31 6:13 pm
you mean that hair you cut off a corpse 13 years ago....why bother.
2015-08-31 3:57 pm
Yes, it's 100% safe.
2015-08-31 3:43 pm
Yes, I dyed my hair ombré when I was twelve and I was fine. I got semi permanent dye and it lasted about 4 1/2 months before starting to fade. Hope this helps ;)
2015-08-31 3:43 pm
yh its safe but i would ask a hair dresser for you don't do it yourself or use cha products. go to a local trusted hair dressers and ask them to do it for u
2015-08-31 3:36 pm
Yes, but don't do permanent hair dye. Semi permanent, demi permanent or henna is recommended so you don't ruin your hair.
2015-08-31 3:32 pm
it safe but it ll ruin the quality of hair like shine
2015-08-31 3:30 pm
Permanent hair dye- no. I would try something like Henna Hair dye. Henna is very safe and it gives more of a tint than actual dye, but it's very safe for your hair.
2015-08-31 3:26 pm
Yep, just make sure to do the allergy test first! There are instructions on the back, and it doesn't take long, also if you have henna tattoos on they increase your chance of having a reaction, so I would avoid them, obviously avoid getting in eyes and staining clothes, but apart from that, perfectly safe, have fun!
