Oh god it's no competition. Tekken is by far superior in every way compared to Street Fighter.

Tekken seems to be more fun but I grew up with street fighter so Im more used to the characters XD

I used to play street fighter 2 often when I was in high school 🏫 though I have never played tekken so I can't comment on it

I like tekken better because it started out as a true 3d fighter.
The fighting is more realistic. Each fighter has a discipline that's based on real life martial arts. Street fighter is more fantasy. What martial art has people throwing fireballs. I know sumo wrestlers are agile people but when was the last time you saw a sumo jump that far.

Tekken; to me it takes more skill and easier to understand, while when I played Street Fighter, I would just button mash because I couldn't understand it.

tekken while i do like characters that have energy based attacks, i really apperciate the different and unique fighting styles the tekken characters bring the table and easy controls and button commands makes easy to have fun and just really let loose even if you're not familiar with the character you're playing as.

Tekken. Never played Street Fighter as a kid. Both great franchises though.

I prefer Tekken, but Street Fighter is the better fighting game
