What are Homer Simpson's religious beliefs?

Once he described himself as belonging to the "religion that has some well meaning rules that don't work out in real life........christianity"
He does try to start out his own religion at one point after God appears to him in a dream, which was unusual because "usually dreams of naked wome.......Marge". The religion fails.
He is sent by Reverend Lovejoy (or Captain What his name as Honer calls him) to be a missionary to the natives on a tropical island, where Homer asks "Jeebus" to help him get off the island.
He joins Catholicism at one point because it appeals to te part of hik that loves drinking and fighting.
And Homer also becomes an ordained minister so he can perform same sex marraiges, which makes him far more enlightened than the majority of Christians.
He believes in Matt Groening his creator.
Homer could not believe in any man made crazy religion. Homer would believe the greatest physicist in the world Stephen Hawking who said religious people are just scared of the dark and their definitely no God.
Hindu. He got converted by that indian store clerk.
Who cares of a silly cartoon?
