Do you get to keep the games from a Playstation Plus free trial?

Not unless you renew your subscription or they were purchased as a discount. If they were free, the license ends after the PS+ and you have to keep it going to keep access to the free content.

You keep them, but they don't work if you don't have a PS+ subscription.
