is this considered as backstabbing?

SO me and this friend had an huge argument, and she went home early, so the other friends ask me whats going on, so i tell them exactly what happened, including her telling me she hated to work with me and would never want to again, and i expressed my anger to my other friends, saying i don't give a sh*t, and said if she is trying to make me apologise or beg for her to forgive me, blah blah blah.
ANd now i'm thinking, if one of the friend decided to tell her what i said, on purpose or accidentally, it doesn't matter, but would she think that i was bitching about her, or saying **** behind her back? I mean, non of the things are made up, but would it still be considered as that?

Discussing this matter with others behind her back is, in a way, backstabbing. It was between you and her. Now that everyone is now 'informed', it's like forcing them to take sides. And have they heard her side? Was she there to defend her position? No. So, yeah, you pretty much threw her under the bus to everyone else. You would have kept a respectable position in this if you had just said to the others 'we have a disagreement we need to work out, that's all'. This is what a mature person with personal dignity & respect for others would have done. Regardless of how mad you were.

That s exactly what you re doing - backstabbing, bitching about her and talking **** behind her back. What else would you call it? Yes, you re just venting but you re still gossiping about her to other people. When word gets back to her, how do you think she s going to feel?
