Okay so first off I am 13 year old boy.and its been bothering me. Does having acidity or not eating get me cancer. I diet beacuse i am afraid of gaining weight, i also exercise. I used to be fat and thats where my fright came from. So i heard that the stomach acids may give u cancer because they destroy stomach wall. So will i get cancer? Sometimes my stomach burns. And if it does i eat.

Yes you can. You should get that checked out. You most likely damaged the lining of your stomach which can also lead to ulcers and stomach cancer. Not worth the fear of eating.

Your stomach produces the acid so it won't hurt your stomach. It might burn your esophagus if you have heartburn/reflux. People can get esophageal cancer if they have repeated bout of reflux for years. This doesn't happen overnight or 13 year olds.
You have an eating disorder or a phobia of eating now so you need to seek some help for this. It is a good thing to avoid gaining weight and becoming obese as many of us are now.
You need to eat enough nutrients to keep from losing too much weight. After you have lost excess fat and keep on a strict diet, your body still needs fuel to run on so it uses muscle. Unfortunately, it will use your precious heart muscle as well as others which is dangerous. Start eating some health protein and whole grains and vegetables and some fruit everyday. No you wont but there is lots of other illness you can get if you dont eat properly and it is mainly ulcers that eventualy can turn to cancer, sugar level problems and strain on your internal organs

Does cancer run in your family? Because if it doesnt then odds are that you won't.(: Balance out your diet. Don't eat a little or else you'll get an ulcer and those are painful as heck. Eat healthy like lots of fruits and vegitables as well as meats and proteins unless your a vegetarian or vegan. Stomach acids only become too strong if you eat too many things with alot of acid such as sour candy or too many fruits at one time. And don't stress about anything too much or (sorry to say this) else you might get an ulcer. Your still young and if you stay healthy and keep excersising you'll be fine. Hope this helped((:

No. You won't get cancer. Avoid diagnosing yourself with the Intermet- WebMd can turn a simple cold into a deadly disease. You're fine. :)
