Should I buy an IMac if I already have a laptop?

I already have a laptop and I m getting an Ipad soon. I just wanted opinions not on the price but whether or not I should get it. I would use it to do what I do on my laptop but it would be a bigger screen, more space, and it would have more apps that come with it. I would also like to have it to watch movies, tv shows, facetime, and other things.

Sounds like a good and vaild reason to me. But I agree with the other answer you should sell the other one unless you would need that for traveling.

Personally, I don't think it's worth it. You could buy an hdmj cable (presuming you have a TV) and an external HDD. And that's you got an even bigger screen and as much storage as you want to pay for. As for apps, if you look hard enough online you can find something that will do what you want for free. For example, FaceTime -> Skype

Why not buy a Macbook and sell your laptop? Then you don't have to maintain 2 machines.
