What is a trap queen?

A woman who likes to trap (sell drugs) and whip work (drugs of course) with you.

It's just a fun song, pretty tame compared to the real trap music out there.

It basically means an independent women that got all her **** together, loves her family, don't hang around with bad people.

Trap Queen is just a phrase used in the song by Fetty Wrap. In the context of the song, and from what I gather from the Urban dictionary, a 'trap queen' is a strong, 'badass', loyal woman.

Also, trap is a fairly recent (1990s) genre of music, aggressive sounding lyrics and general sound, quite fast paced. So 'trap queen' given that context could mean that she is a woman of that genre style in the way she acts, etc.

I wouldn't bother looking too much into it, it's just a good, popular song. It isn't in any way bad that your son is listening to it, a lot of people are; it's a very popular song.
I listen to emo music and heavy rock and rap as well as pop stuff like Trap Queen, and it says nothing about who I am as a person. It just tells people I have a wide variety of music taste! The Ed Sheeran cover of that song is great too.
